A keen interest in the Gothic Revival resulted in us becoming involved with surveys and repair work to this small Gothic Revival masterpiece, designed by AWN Pugin. Working with a dedicated Committee drawn from the members of the Church congregation, we were delighted to be part of a team that carried out a successful Heritage Lottery Fund application. A comprehensive repair works project including placement of defective masonry, refacing of damaged stones, repointing, roofing and replacement of lead was successfully completed in November 2016 on time and on budget to preserve this important church and its unique interior for generations yet to come.
